About Sweet Peas Family Childcare

Hi, my name is Jasmin Valencia Bunao and I am the owner of Sweet Peas Family Childcare. I know how difficult is it to be away from our children for long periods of time due to work and meetings as I have four children of my own. That being said, it is imperative that first and foremost, we ensure a safe environment for your child when you are away. Ever since I started volunteering every summer at my church's summer day camp during high school and college days, I realized my affinity to working with young children. I ended up majoring in child development to pursue a career in early childhood education. However, life happened and I ended up going into healthcare for 15 years. After 15 years of working in healthcare I came to a point in my life where an opportunity presented itself and it allowed me to pursue my life's passion of working with young children. For the past year I have been diligently preparing a space that would not only feel safe and comfortable but also provide a school like setting. Here at Sweet Peas Family Childcare we provide activities that are cognitively stimulating and help develop fine and gross motor skills through play. We believe in the importance of the development of the Whole child. We want to provide an environment that stimulates cultural diversity in a nurturing Christian based environment.
